Could This Be The End of Radio Mercury!?

In the town of Utopia, Ontario, the local radio station, CRUM, Radio Mercury, has always been the comforting voice that has seen the citizens through the toughest times a town can go through. From war to peace, drought to flood, and countless other disasters both real and imagined, the people have always known that with a twist of a dial the voice of sanity, hope and occasionally even disparagement will bring them together and keep them safe, or at least, distracted. But now that voice may be silenced forever, as the oldest radio station in Canada, (founded by Gerhardt Mercury in 1893, 2 years before the invention of radio) faces its toughest struggle yet. Will the people of Utopia still have a voice they can call their own? How will those who keep the station on the airwaves face the terrible times ahead? Why is it closing? What is radio?
