The National Theatre Of The World is a fresh progressive theatre company intent on creating captivating live theatre through the art of improvisation. The company currently produces Impromptu Splendor, an improvised one-act play with it’s focus on theatricality, narrative, and committed acting. As well The N.T.O.W. produces the weekly meta-variety spectacle The Carnegie Hall Show, a sophisticated collection of madness and music. Future projects include a weekly romantic serial, new plays written through improvisation, and a tour to fine festivals around the world.
Our mandate is to create new Canadian work every week based on improvisation and to encourage the theatre and improvisation communities to come together.
Company members include: Naomi Snieckus (The Second City Toronto), Ronlad Pederson (MADtv and Canadian Stage Company), and Matt Baram (The Second City Toronto)
